Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a hospital in Miami, Florida. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing respiratory care services to patients and their families, including assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating the care given.

Job Details:
  • Contract Type: 13-week contract with possibility of extension
  • Shifts: NOC shifts available
  • Pay: $1,206 - $1,317 per week*

About the Job:

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing respiratory care services to patients and their families. This includes assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating the care given. You will also respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility and perform routine maintenance on equipment.

Requirements:
  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner
  • 1-2 years minimum acute care experience
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle a multi-task environment
  • Basic PC skills such as Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment
