Position: Mechanical Project Manager
Location: Jamestown NC
Preferred Experience: Data Center / Mission Critical Facilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the planning and execution of project integration and timelines for specific customer projects.
  • Oversee a regional team of suppliers and coordinate all equipment deliveries with the construction contractor.
  • Procure equipment while negotiating optimal pricing and delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with management to prepare responses to RFPs.
  • Forecast project requirements, manage budgets, and track expenses effectively.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards in alignment with company policies, articulating these in clear and concise work statements for field teams.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to the company's Safety Program.
  • Review shop drawings for accuracy and compliance.
  • Supervise the mechanical installation of equipment at data center facilities and heavy industrial sites.
  • Engage on-site during equipment delivery and installation/commissioning phases.
  • Represent the company in project meetings and discussions.
Qualifications:
  • 5-12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Mechanical and HVAC Systems, including Chillers, HVAC, CRAC, CRAH, Cooling Towers, Pumps, and Boilers is essential.
  • Experience managing projects involving heavy equipment supply to the construction industry is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing HVAC equipment installation projects for Data Centers is a must.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating self-motivation and effective prioritization skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Suite and MS Project.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
