Aerotek is seeking a skilled Production Operations Specialist to join their team in WASHINGTON, MO. This is a fully onsite position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $39,519 - $39,519.

About the Role:

This Production Operations Specialist will be responsible for processing titanium sheets through grinders to meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process titanium sheets through grinders to meet customer specifications.
  • Move skids of titanium sheets with a forklift.
  • Lift and move titanium sheets manually in and out of grinders using conveyors.
  • Visually inspect sheet surfaces and use grinding tools to remove defects.
  • Use a micrometer and thickness gauge (vidigauge) to check the thickness of titanium sheets.
  • Perform minor grinder maintenance.
  • Perform periodic cleaning of grinders and work area.
  • Set up machines and observe machine operations to detect malfunctions.
  • Install large belts on grinders.
  • Train precision sheet helpers and grinder operators.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
