Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for exams, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the procedure
  • Operate x-ray equipment, positioning patients for radiographs, and adjusting equipment for optimal exposure
  • Monitor patients' conditions, recognizing and reporting any abnormalities or adverse reactions
  • Process and maintain exposed images, labeling them correctly and maintaining required records
  • Perform related duties as required
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
  • New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration
  • Minimum of one year experience performing radiologic exams
  • BLS through the American Heart Association
