Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of high-volume restaurant experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing bread and pastry recipes from scratch, portioning product, and following recipes. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare bread and pastry recipes from scratch, using high-quality ingredients and adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Portion product accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all products meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet production demands.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.
  • Be available to work weekends and some holidays, as well as fill in as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of high-volume restaurant experience.
