- Quality Assurance: Ensure that Company-sponsored (Corporate) quality assurance systems are properly employed and timely corrective actions are taken to consistently meet required product specifications.
- Leadership Development: Coach, counsel, and develop direct report to exceptional performance, mastery of current roles, and preparation for greater responsibilities.
- Operational Performance: Effectively monitor the operational and financial performance of the plant, taking timely corrective action to achieve the goals of the organization.
- Policies and Practices: Ensure that all Corporate/Company-Wide Policies and Practices are implemented effectively within the plant, providing input to Corporate/Company-Wide Policies and Practices.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (Technical Degree is preferred but not required)
- Experience: Five (5) to ten (10) year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in coal mining; oil and gas; pulp and paper; steel; and/or poly/plastics
- Skills: Experience with motors and/or equipment such as Medium and High Voltage AC Induction Motors, Synchronous AC Motors, DC Motors and Generators; knowledge of the repair process, ISO processes; Electrical Testing; Mechanical Inspection and Measurement Recording; AC/DC Winding; Small, Medium, and Large Motor Repair, Assembly and Testing; and Machine Upgrades
- Knowledge: Manufacturing knowledge of equipment and quality systems; experience in Production control, Quality and Manufacturing; knowledge of Industrial system, process, and documentation requirements
- Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to articulate a vision and a strategic direction easily understood by all level of employees and addresses their needs in addition to the organization's needs; demonstrate sound leadership and interpersonal skills to maintain a team-oriented working environment that allows for individual differences and provides for individual growth
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and Interpersonal relationship skills
- Management/Leadership/Motivational Skills: Ability to hold direct reports accountable, in constructive ways, for high performance, provide feedback and coaching that drives continuous performance development
- Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office products; experience with Syteline ERP preferred
