The Commercial Service Technician plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while installing and maintaining both commercial and residential products and services.

Utilizing a diverse set of skills and tools, this role addresses customer service requests and efficiently completes tasks with a focus on quality to ensure reliability.

Key Responsibilities to Drive Company Success:

  • Connect customers to their desired services by installing service drops or outlets in residential and business environments.
  • Engage with complex systems and tools including EPON, fiber optics, switches, Ethernet, and WiFi access points.

Apply your training to operate electronic testing equipment and online diagnostic tools to troubleshoot service drops or outlets, diagnose and rectify reception issues, and resolve all concerns from the customer's equipment to the output of the first distribution amplifier.

Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at each termination on the customer's premises.

Be proactive in suggesting service upgrades and educating customers on the functionality of their new or existing equipment.

Qualifications:

A valid driver's license and a clean driving record in the state of application are essential.

We are eager to provide training. Candidates should possess the aptitude and willingness to learn to utilize RF, digital, and Volt-Ohm meters and other related equipment to analyze data and apply information to solve problems and determine optimal signal routing.

Flexibility to exceed customer expectations by working overtime and being on-call as necessary is required.

Strong problem-solving skills are essential when interacting with customers. Candidates must be able to listen attentively and present solutions positively.

Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be capable of working in confined spaces, lifting up to 80 lbs., climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.

A minimum of 3 months of customer service or related experience and/or training is required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are also acceptable.

A high school diploma or GED is necessary.

Regular and reliable attendance is a must.
