Job Title: Medical Assistant Neurosurgery

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Neurosurgery team in Boston, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant will provide high-quality patient care and administrative support to our Neurosurgery team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care and support to Neurosurgery patients, including vital sign collection, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Assist with clinical procedures, such as electrocardiograms, vision and hearing screening, and specimen collection.
  • Participate in team-based care and patient education initiatives to support the health and wellness of patients.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, registering patients, and managing billing and fiscal information.
  • Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the team leader.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Certificate Program preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
