Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Rad Technician PRN to join our team at Retreat Doctors' Hospital. As a CT Rad Technician PRN, you will be responsible for preparing patients, collecting relevant information, and performing CT and X-ray procedures. You will also be responsible for observing patient conditions, transferring and positioning patients safely, and practicing radiation safety.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures and collect relevant information.
  • Perform CT and X-ray procedures.
  • Observe patient conditions and transfer and position patients safely.
  • Practice radiation safety and follow federal standards.
  • Compile records and expedite results.
  • Administer contrast media as required.
  • Participate in continuing education activities to expand knowledge of CT and meet ARRT requirements.
  • Initiate patient teaching and involve family and/or significant others.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in Radiology and a graduate degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. ARRT eligibility and BLS certification are required. Preferred qualifications include one year of dedicated CT experience and ARRT certification in CT. Must obtain certification in CT within 12 months of date of hire.
