About the Role: We are seeking a skilled professional with a robust background in procurement to enhance our supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of effective purchasing methodologies and inventory management principles.
- Manage the procurement cycle, including order placement, expediting, and data collection to facilitate efficient purchasing processes.
- Develop and document policies and procedures related to procurement activities.
- Analyze purchasing data to align with inventory management strategies.
- Collaborate with fellow buyers to impart knowledge on standard operating procedures and performance metrics.
- Utilize Excel and ERP systems to implement MRP concepts effectively.
- Familiarity with JD Edwards is advantageous for managing setup and master data management.
- Possess a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in supply chain management.
- A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
