Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at Universal Health Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the philosophy, policy, and procedures set forth by senior management while maximizing customer service.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patients' identities while they are being cared for and after treatment is completed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Recent experience in multi-line telephone reception or healthcare experience preferred.
Competencies
  • Knowledge of basic telephone etiquette.
  • Knowledge of multi-line telephone system.
  • Above average problem-solving skills.
  • Above average customer service skills.
  • Organizing and prioritizing workload to meet customer needs.
  • Telephone etiquette and paging procedures.
  • Effective oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, families, and other visitors.
  • Ability to adhere to safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to use good judgment and maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • Ability to demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience, and dedication.
  • Ability to accept direction and adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Ability to recognize the importance of adapting to various patient age groups.
