Position Overview:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a secure and healthy maintenance environment by adhering to organizational standards and legal regulations. This role involves proactively addressing issues and notifying relevant personnel about potential concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise maintenance personnel by selecting, training, scheduling, and providing guidance and discipline as necessary.
  2. Communicate job expectations clearly, while planning, monitoring, and evaluating employee contributions.
  3. Ensure maintenance requirements are met by effectively orienting and coaching team members.
  4. Achieve maintenance standards by adhering to productivity and quality benchmarks, while resolving any arising issues.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving measures.
  6. Manage shift operations by reviewing reports from previous shifts and allocating resources accordingly.
  7. Document maintenance activities by completing necessary forms, reports, and logs to ensure data accuracy.
  8. Contribute to the overall success of the maintenance department by being open to new requests and assisting others in achieving their objectives.

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate will oversee the installation and upkeep of electrical and mechanical equipment utilized in operations. Responsibilities include directing maintenance staff, monitoring performance, and providing constructive feedback. The role also entails coordinating the maintenance of production equipment and ensuring adherence to technical and quality control processes.

Experience and Education:

2-5 years of relevant professional experience is required. A BA/BS degree along with 2-5 years of experience, or an advanced degree with 0-3 years of experience, is preferred.
