Job Summary

This is a leadership role that oversees the counseling program at Sexual Trauma Awareness and Response (STAR). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the program's operations, supervising counselors, and maintaining an active caseload of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Develop and implement procedures to ensure consistency across the counseling team, identify barriers and gaps in service delivery, and work with the team to develop solutions.
  • Supervision: Directly supervise counselors, including facilitating team meetings, coaching, and supervision, as well as conducting performance reviews.
  • Clinical Work: Maintain an active caseload of STAR clients, providing therapy services and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Collaboration: Work with the Director of Programs and Director of Grants and Operations to seek out grant funding and other revenue streams to enhance the counseling program.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, with some evenings and weekends expected. STAR requires all employees to consent to and successfully complete a full background investigation, which includes a criminal history check and fingerprinting.
