We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our vibrant team in the DMV area. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in a school-based setting, providing evidence-based therapy plans and direct therapy services to patients with communication disorders.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and working collaboratively with school teams to provide high-quality services. This role offers a unique chance to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders
  • Provide direct therapy services in a school-based setting
  • Collaborate with school teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Write clinical notes and participate in IEP meetings
  • Supervise clinical fellows or support staff as needed

Requirements

  • Current SLP license for DC, MD, or VA
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
  • Familiarity with communication disorders and experience working with pediatric populations
