Position Overview: This role is pivotal in delivering internal assistance to an account management team for a designated portfolio; it involves collaboration with sales and service personnel, client and carrier interaction, record maintenance, and various administrative tasks.

A Typical Day Includes:
  • Providing direct administrative assistance as needed, addressing requests for support promptly and collaboratively.
  • Assisting the designated team in retaining the current client base; discussing opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling additional Oswald offerings.
  • Acting as a client liaison, swiftly identifying and evaluating customer needs; systematically resolving issues with sound business judgment.
  • Addressing enrollment, billing, claims, and other administrative matters; ensuring comprehensive solutions are delivered to client satisfaction; documenting details and outcomes of each support interaction.
  • Coordinating with both clients and vendors to gather all account documentation; creating files in the internal shared systems and organizing documents appropriately.
  • Updating and maintaining client information within the record system; ensuring all data is entered accurately and promptly.
  • Supporting the client's integrated health management strategy; recording meeting notes from the Client Manager and integrating that information into the relevant data systems.
  • Tracking the progress of meeting action items, prompting responses from vendors or internal staff, and documenting results for client feedback.
  • Striving to understand the intricacies of Healthcare Reform, HIPAA, COBRA, and other relevant legislation impacting the business unit.
  • Assisting HR personnel involved with ICHRA concerning Medicare reports.
Qualifications:
  • A college degree is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • 1 to 3 years of industry experience is preferred, particularly in medical benefits and ancillary coverage lines.
  • The role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks across various employer groups simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, with proper grammar in all correspondences.
  • A professional appearance and demeanor are expected.
  • Comfort in communicating with HR teams and employees at all levels is necessary.
  • Health and Life license must be obtained within 12 months of employment.
