Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Lab team at Lakeland Hospital St Joseph. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader, utilizing the framework of the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader, adhering to Corewell Health policies and procedures.
- Partner with patients and families to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document education and learning in the patient's health record.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Michigan.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of hire.
- NIH Stroke Certification - NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale within 90 days of hire.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced Cardiovascular Lab environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. The work schedule will include 10-hour shifts, with variable on-call requirements.
