Key Responsibilities
  • Audiological Diagnostics: Conduct subjective audiological tests to assess hearing impairments in adults and children, including pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry, hearing aids, implant evaluations, and more.
  • Tympanometry and Stapedial Reflex Measurements: Perform tympanometry and stapedial reflex measurements to assess middle ear function.
  • Objective Audiological Examinations: Conduct objective audiological examinations in adults, children, and infants, including suprathreshold audiometry such as otoacoustic emissions and brainstem audiometry.
  • Vestibular Disorders: Assess vestibular disorders, including head impulse testing, caloric testing, and fall risk analysis.
  • Cochlear Implant Measurements: Perform intraoperative measurements of cochlear implants.
  • Speech Processor Testing and Adjustment: Test and adjust speech processors for cochlear implants, both intraoperatively and in follow-up care.
  • Cochlear Implant Programming: Program cochlear implants to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of audiological diagnostic procedures and equipment.
