Job Summary

We're seeking a talented Customer Service Associate - Store Representative to join our team at Ross Dress for Less. As a key member of our store staff, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional shopping experience. If you're passionate about delivering excellent customer service and working in a fast-paced retail environment, we want to hear from you

Responsibilities
  • Create a positive and engaging shopping experience for our customers by providing exceptional customer service, addressing their queries, and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including merchandise presentation, stockroom organization, and adhering to company standards and best practices.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, refunds, and exchanges while maintaining high levels of awareness and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, promote products, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an attractive and inviting shopping environment.
  • Perform various tasks as required, such as receiving and processing new merchandise, restocking shelves, and assisting with inventory management.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, adhering to company protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and move around the store with ease.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and electronic payment systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
