About the Accounting Assistant Role

Creative Financial Staffing is working with one of our top clients to identify an Accounting Assistant to join their team. This role is a great opportunity for anyone looking to grow alongside and within a company that values employee development and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and distribute daily sales reports to stakeholders
  • Process invoices for accounts payable and prepare weekly check runs to ensure timely payments
  • Prepare daily bank deposits, apply payments, and follow up on overdue customer accounts for accounts receivable
  • Prepare bank statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Assist the CFO with month-end and year-end closings, and additional projects as required
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting is required for this role
  • Prior accounting experience will be highly valued, but not necessary
  • Familiarity with a major ERP system is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and organized
