Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Inventory Management Specialist to oversee the receipt, storage, distribution, sampling, and record-keeping of materials in our warehouse. This role involves supervising activities associated with inventory management, planning, and scheduling workloads for Material Coordinators, as well as coordinating with 3rd party warehouses to achieve operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Ensure that materials are transported, received, and sampled properly, and that product is shipped according to SOP and aligned with Quality and cGMP standards.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Plan and schedule the workload of Material Coordinators, and coordinate activities with sampling and warehouse personnel at 3rd party storage facilities.
  • Training and Development: Monitor and conduct training, communication, and address training deficiencies to ensure that all employees meet quality requirements.
  • Compliance and Quality: Oversee department operations to ensure that all cGMP operations are being followed and meeting all quality requirements.
  • Investigations and Deviations: Oversee investigations, deviations, and change controls for the department.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with other site plant personnel, area supervisors, and departments as needed, and participate in routine practices and team projects relating to TPM, 5S, Lean Six Sigma, Change Control, Change Over, Safety, Quality, etc.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree with a focus in business, engineering, or logistics, and 5+ years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, preferably in QA material supervision, logistics coordination, or senior material coordination. Additionally, experience in ERP systems, SAP, Trackwise, LIMS is a plus, and an Aseptic Processing Certificate is also desirable.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
