About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Communication Disorder Specialist to join our team at Amergis. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to students in our schools.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in speech-language pathology and will be able to work effectively with students, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. A competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year is offered, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address communication disorders in students
  • Provide individual and group speech and language therapy sessions to students
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to implement treatment plans in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in regular progress monitoring
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program
  • Certification or licensure in speech-language pathology, as required by the state of employment
  • At least 3 years of experience working with children with communication disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
