**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Therapeutic Communication Specialist to join our team at Amergis. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Assess students' communication skills, identifying disorders and developing recommendations for treatment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to communicate information, resolve issues, and provide services.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, interventions, and educational materials to minimize the impact of communication disorders.
  • Instruct students on the use of communication technologies, such as hearing aids and augmentative communication devices.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, including progress reports, activity logs, and billing information.

**Requirements:**

  • Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state of assignment is required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English language is required.
  • Computer skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
