About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Route Sales Representative to join our team at Alsco Uniforms. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for meeting our customers' needs through up-selling and cross-selling, while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solicit new customers and ensure a profitable product mix
  • Actively participate in promotions and contests, training, and audits
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding customer service and sales
  • Ensure customer loyalty and retention through proactive communication and relationship-building
  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle and maintain vehicle cleanliness
  • Handle and process customer payments and maintain accurate route paperwork
  • Ensure timely and correct deliveries of textile loads and maintain proper inventories
  • Monitor and report competitive activity and maintain service agreements
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and CDL when applicable
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Ability to comprehend and follow direction, as well as good time management skills
  • Recognize colors, sizes, and types of product and count, add, and subtract accurately
  • High school graduation or similar experience
