We are seeking a highly experienced professional to fill the role of Architect/Engineer Project Reviewer. This critical position involves evaluating the security implications of construction projects across all phases, ensuring that every detail is meticulously reviewed, assessed, and coordinated to meet security and project standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Project Managers to address and resolve any security issues related to facility projects, track progress, and disseminate information regarding security changes.
- Perform technical reviews of project drawings to assess security impacts and ensure compliance with established construction standards.
- Assist in the development and review of security project plans to ensure they align with overall security objectives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of project security guidance and policy to ensure consistent application across all projects.
- Conduct technical reviews, quality control assessments, and project management activities from the planning and programming stages through to construction.
- Conduct site surveys and walk-throughs of project locations to identify and address any security concerns.
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders, including project teams and legislative branch agencies, to ensure alignment on security requirements and project objectives.
- Must possess a current Top Secret personnel security clearance and maintain it throughout the duration of the contract.
- Must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure or be a Registered Architect (RA).
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of eight (8), preferably ten (10), years of experience as an architect or engineer, with a focus on security-related projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience in performing technical reviews, quality control, and project management on building projects from the planning and programming phases through to construction.
