Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our dynamic Cardiology Stepdown Unit at Duke Health.

About the Job:

As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care for patients in accordance with the medical and nursing plans of care and established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess nursing needs of acute and chronically ill patients and their families, and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Delegate tasks and supervise the activities of other licensed and unlicensed care providers.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited BSN program.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
  • BLS certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
