About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our Malbon Golf boutique store in DC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and motivate a team of sales associates and sales supervisors to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth, including creating engaging in-store experiences, managing inventory, and analyzing sales data.
  • Customer Experience: Foster a positive and welcoming store environment that exceeds customer expectations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the store is maintained to the highest standards, including visual merchandising, inventory management, and operational tasks.
  • Activations and Events: Plan and execute in-store activations and events to drive sales and engagement, including product launches and promotions.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest golf trends and technologies, including Shopify, Endear, Slack, and Google Office.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: 2+ years of direct management experience, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and building high-performing teams.
  • Retail Experience: 3+ years of customer service and/or retail experience, with a background in a similar category preferred.
  • Technical Golf Knowledge: Strong knowledge of golf and its trends, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, team members, and stakeholders.
