Job Summary

This position is responsible for assisting with leading the team with all divisional short-term and long-term planning, assisting the leadership team on executing the business plan, strategies, analytics and data needs for the division and working with divisional leadership on strategies and business plans for functional areas. Working with enterprise areas to ensure there is alignment with the divisional strategy. Documenting and conducting analysis of competitive and market information for the division and ensuring integration with overall strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement divisional short-term and long-term plans to drive business growth and profitability.
  2. Collaborate with leadership team to execute business plan, strategies, analytics, and data needs for the division.
  3. Work with divisional leadership to develop strategies and business plans for functional areas.
  4. Ensure alignment with enterprise areas to drive divisional strategy.
  5. Document and analyze competitive and market information for the division.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor degree and 6 years experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting environment OR Bachelor degree and 5 years consulting experience involving strategic planning, business development and financial management operations OR 8 years of experience strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry.
  2. Experience leading and formulating strategy with the ability to build strong connections with people and teams.
  3. Drive results by working across departments in matrixed environment.
  4. Interpersonal skills, including presentation, written and verbal communication.
  5. Experience with business analytics and information synthesis.
  6. Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends.
  7. Able to work within a very fast-paced, quickly evolving organization and manage multiple, complex priorities.
  8. Work directly with corporate leadership.
  9. Analytical, program management and problem solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Advanced degree such as Juris Doctor, MBA or MHA.
  2. Experience working with commercial employer health insurance (in addition to third party administrator experience).

Base Pay Range

$88,160.00
