Job Title: Business Systems Consultant

Join AbbVie's Business Technology Solutions (BTS) team and take the next step in your career. As a Business Systems Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the digital transformation of our treatments and positively impacting patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with PSEQ clients to understand their business processes and drivers, identifying opportunities for improvement through technology, with a focus on Veeva Vault Safety and medical coding.
  • Lead PSEQ migrations associated with AbbVie acquisitions, determining migration scope, defining the approach, and overseeing the project to ensure a successful outcome.
  • Investigate and understand the capabilities of PSEQ systems and technologies, identifying information required to support the business strategy and developing appropriate information management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures, identifying current and emerging business needs and evaluating alternative technology solutions.
  • Proactively seek out strategic business opportunities for the application of new or existing technology capabilities across PSEQ, providing key opinion-leading clients with comprehensive strategic analyses and insights.
  • Work with BTS and industry leaders to shape the future of information technology for pharmacovigilance, leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and workflow automation.
  • Make recommendations to PSEQ process stakeholders regarding the correct approach to achieve process improvement objectives, including business process outsourcing, application development, or adopting business process management (BPM) practices.
  • Develop business relationships and integrate activities with other BTOs to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts, managing relationships between clients and BTOs to assure effective communication.
  • Have defined authority and responsibility for a significant area of work, including technical, financial, and quality aspects, establishing organizational objectives and delegating assignments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 7 years' experience; Master's Degree with 6 years' experience; PhD with 2 years' experience.
  • Exercises latitude in the approach to problem solving.
  • Program/Project Management with 3 years' experience.
  • Ability to determine and develop approaches to mitigate risk.
  • Exhibits exceptional teamwork skills.

Preferred qualifications include experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Information Technology, and Veeva Vault experience.
