Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with management and kitchen staff to stay updated on food and beverage offerings and packaging needs.
  • Ensure that all takeout station equipment is functioning properly and well-stocked with sanitation supplies, reporting any issues as necessary.
  • Greet and engage with takeout guests warmly, learning their names and preferences to cultivate a friendly atmosphere.
  • Inform guests about daily specials and menu updates, providing recommendations to assist them in making informed choices.
  • Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest orders, tailoring suggestions based on individual preferences.
  • Accurately take and record food and beverage orders, confirming details with guests to ensure precision.
  • Efficiently operate the POS system to relay orders to the kitchen staff.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene by adhering to uniform policies.
  • Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as required by company standards.
  • Observe guest body language to anticipate needs and enhance their experience, confirming orders in their presence.
  • Prepare beverage orders for takeout guests responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol service regulations.
  • Thank guests sincerely as they depart, encouraging their return.
  • Engage in continuous learning about food and beverage offerings to become a knowledgeable resource for guests.
  • Keep the takeout area clean and organized, ensuring high-contact surfaces are sanitized.
  • Restock and prepare supplies for the next shift.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and restroom facilities, reporting any safety concerns to management.
  • Complete checkout procedures with a manager and assist with additional tasks as assigned.
  • Review work schedules to stay informed about upcoming shifts.
  • Encourage guest participation in loyalty programs and charity initiatives.
  • Support fellow team members as needed.
  • Follow up with guests post-visit to express gratitude and gather feedback on their experience.

Qualifications:
