Job Summary:

As a Cashier Associate at Winn-Dixie, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers. Your primary duties will include operating a cash register, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide continuous attention to customer needs and greet, assist, and thank customers in a prompt, courteous, and friendly manner.
  • Properly record sales through the scanning system and operate cashiering equipment accurately and efficiently.
  • Stock front-end products and return carts to the shopping cart corral.

Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
