Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Design and execute a facility management strategy that includes preventive maintenance and lifecycle considerations
  • Conduct and document routine inspections of facilities
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and industry standards
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of facility-related equipment
  • Plan and manage facility-related projects, renovations, and upgrades
  • Organize and supervise central facility services such as reception, cleaning, waste management, and parking
  • Solicit quotes from vendors and suppliers
  • Coordinate and oversee the activities of external contractors
  • Manage relationships with contractors and vendors

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Degree in Facilities Management, Facilities Engineering, or a related field such as project management, business management, or construction management

Experience:

  • Comprehensive understanding of project management principles, business administration, financial practices, electrical and mechanical systems, and procurement and contracts
  • Thorough knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Experience in construction, maintenance, and all aspects of facility operations
  • Supervisory experience
  • Strong computer and systems proficiency

Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
