Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that guests have an exceptional experience by supervising housekeeping associates to maintain brand standards of hotel cleanliness. This role involves preparing work assignments, coordinating room readiness, and collaborating with other departments to provide efficient and timely services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct coaching and accountability of housekeeping associates to meet service, performance, and cleanliness standards.
  • Provide direction, support, and timely feedback to housekeeping associates to promote performance excellence.
  • Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and verify room statuses.
  • Forecast staffing and supply needs to facilitate effective scheduling and ordering.
  • Manage the Lost and Found by tracking items, communicating with guests, and scheduling returns.
  • Promote sanitation, safety, and security efforts within the hotel.
  • Assist with scheduling associates according to business levels.
  • Conduct daily stand-ups with the housekeeping team.
  • Operate laundering equipment to clean and press linen while maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, report equipment issues, and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • 6 months of housekeeping and/or related experience.
  • PREFERRED: Hospitality experience, high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer knowledge.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Able to lift 50lbs occasionally, 25lbs regularly, bend, squat, walk, and stand for scheduled shifts.
  • OTHER: Flexible to work day shifts, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
