Respiratory Care Specialist

Highmark Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory disorders under licensed medical direction.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer therapeutic respiratory care procedures according to hospital and department policies.
Complete documentation that is required to measure, monitor, and ensure department effectiveness, including charting, billing, IPOC, patient/family education.
Perform diagnostic respiratory procedures according to hospital and department policies.
Provide instruction to patients and other members of the healthcare team as needed.
Requirements:
Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Graduate of an approved respiratory therapy program.
Pennsylvania state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or TPP.
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
BLS upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Registered with the National Board of Respiratory Care RRT, or Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT).
1 year experience in a hospital setting.
