Job Description
This exciting opportunity is ideal for an experienced Business Assistant who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and supporting a high-performing team. You will be responsible for managing front office duties, scheduling appointments, and processing accounts receivable.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients, creating a positive first impression of our practice.
- Manage front office duties, including answering phones, checking office mail and email, and communicating with patients and insurance companies.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
- File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims.
- Process accounts receivable, posting insurance and patient payments.
- Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
- Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems to optimize office potential.
Requirements
- Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- The position will have access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job-related functions; regular HIPAA training will be required.
