Job Summary:

United Scrap Metal is seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class A driver to join our team. As a CDL Class A driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight in a timely manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport freight in a safe and efficient manner
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on vehicles
  • Meet or exceed company safety standards

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a CDL Class A driver
  • Current Class A driver's license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
