Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a member of our rehabilitation service line, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and perform appropriate Physical Therapy (PT) evaluation procedures to identify and assess problems, set treatment goals, and devise a treatment plan.
  • Manage resources needed to perform PT treatment plan to accomplish goals set for the patient.
  • Complete PT documentation in the medical record per department guidelines and complete department records for billing and statistics.
  • Manage PT caseload with efficiency and efficacy.
  • Provide clinical supervision and teaching for PT students or staff, plan orientation, caseload, and other learning activities, provide regular feedback and coaching, and evaluate the learner's performance.
  • Plan and coordinate clinical programs in response to patient needs, technologies, clinical practices, regulations, and reimbursement, and provide regular communication with physicians, supervisor, and others regarding PT programs and patients served.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
  • BLS certification.
  • No prior experience required.
Work Environment

This is a per diem position with variable hours and flexible days, which may include Saturdays. The selected candidate will work closely with an experienced group of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists as part of our Outpatient team.
