We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to support our youth services team as a Youth Services Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing excellent library services to teens and families.
- Collaborate with Collection Development staff to recommend materials for purchase.
- Plan and present engaging programs and activities for teens and tweens.
- Participate in outreach activities such as community events and school visits.
- Maintain accurate data on library usage.
- Perform basic circulation and shelving duties.
Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree and at least three years of experience working with teens, children, or families. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in computer and clerical skills, and have a broad general knowledge of young adult literature and information resources.
