About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Department Coordinator. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for promoting an exceptional customer experience and leading a team of Associates to achieve sales goals and provide outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and team collaboration
  • Train and mentor Associates on front-end principles, including customer service, sales techniques, and store operations
  • Assign registers, support POS coverage, and coordinate breaks for Associates
  • Address customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive experience
  • Communicate effectively with management and Associates, prioritizing tasks and providing progress updates
  • Partner with management to identify training needs and develop strategies to improve Associate effectiveness
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs, and support store shrink reduction goals
  • Maintain a safe and organized store environment
Requirements
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Strong understanding of merchandising techniques and ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Able to respond effectively to changes in direction or unexpected situations
  • Team player with strong leadership and training abilities
  • 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience
