About the Position
Betances Health Center is a leading provider of healthcare services in New York City, and we are seeking an experienced Comprehensive Care Physician to join our team.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to our HIV patients, managing common and complex diseases, and maintaining a clinic panel of patients requiring infectious disease oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose patients, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications and therapies as needed.
- Monitor patient conditions and progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide health and wellness advice, order screenings, and immunize patients against preventable diseases.
- Collaborate with other medical specialists to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited medical or osteopathic school with an MD, DO, or equivalent degree.
- Completion of an accredited Residency program and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- NYS licensure as a physician (MD or DO) in good standing, board certification in Internal Medicine, and compliance with American Board of Internal Medicine and American Academy of HIV Medicine requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills, as well as bilingualism (Spanish or Chinese) and computer proficiency.
- A demonstrated ability to work with a culturally diverse clinic staff, establish rapport with patients, and provide quality health care services to a diverse community.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $220,000 - $280,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
