Key Responsibilities:
Provide psychiatric services to inmate patients, including evaluations, treatment, and monitoring of psychotropic medications in compliance with professional and company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure uniformity of mental health services and documentation of psychiatric services.
Provide supervision and oversight to psychiatric nurses (if applicable) and consultation/training services to mental health and medical staff.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Doctorate in psychiatry.
Training and experience providing psychiatric services to an adult population.
Physician who is licensed to practice medicine in the state of employment.
Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.
CPR Certified.
