Job Summary

Entergy is seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for providing direct oversight, coaching, and support to Project Controls Specialists throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement comprehensive project cost, schedule, scope, and risk controls on Entergy projects.
  • Ensure projects have reliable cost and schedule estimates and achieve business goals on time and to budget.
  • Integrate with and support the Project Management team as needed to ensure successful execution of assigned projects.
  • Monitor and report on compliance with schedule-related contractual requirements by contractors.
  • Validate the Estimate to Completion and Estimate at Completion forecast.
  • Prepare contingency analysis and report on contingency status.
  • Collaborate with the project manager and other project team members to identify, characterize, and document project risks in a risk register and develop mitigation plans.
  • Work with the project manager and other project team members to manage the Change Management process and document clearly throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 6 years minimum capital project management and/or project control experience with project controls focus. Utility capital project experience essential.
  • Desired: Project controls experience on large-scale capital projects. Experience of project controls implemented on projects executed under various types of contract agreements, including EPC.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications from PMI and/or AACEi.
