About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team as a Die Maintenance Specialist. This role will be responsible for maintaining and repairing stamping dies in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair stamping dies, performing preventative maintenance tasks and repairing level 1 jobs assigned each day.
  • Perform fabrication of parts, exit chutes, scrap deflectors, rollers, brackets, and other components.
  • Clean, wash, and polish dies using die wash (high pressure) and operate overhead cranes to rig, flip, and move dies.
  • Remove distortion from forming inserts by hand grinding, replace or repair punches and pierce bushings, and measure, mark, weld, scribe, grind cutting inserts for repair.
  • Operate large industrial forklifts and maintain toolboxes and tools in clean and organized condition.
  • Replace die sensors and fill out work orders to ensure accurate tracking and maintenance.
  • Ensure work areas are clean and maintained daily.
Requirements:
  • TIG, MIG, and ARC welding capabilities.
  • Positive attitude, energy, and willingness to learn and adapt.
