Wiring Specialist for Volt Workforce Solutions

We are seeking a skilled Wiring Specialist to join our team at Volt Workforce Solutions in Smyrna, TN.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $20 - $22 per hour. Additionally, qualified candidates can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law).
Job DescriptionThis role involves working in an Assembly/Manufacturing environment, where you will be responsible for:
- Reading and understanding complex wiring diagrams, bill of materials, kit sheets, front elevation, and one-line documentation.
- Reporting issues through the Andon system.
- Entering wiring terminations through the OPS app.
- Assembling small to large parts and performing wiring assembly tasks.
- Utilizing various hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment.
- Completing entire wiring assembly operations from start to finish.
- Maintaining product quality, proper measuring techniques, and tool use and care.
- Evaluating and troubleshooting basic to moderately complex issues, with support from supervision and engineering as needed.
You will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- The ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safety shoes, and safety glasses on the production floor.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require reaching overhead, pulling, pushing, and climbing ladders.
- The ability to lift up to 26 pounds occasionally or 22 pounds repetitively.
