Pilgrim's Production Supervisor Job Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring all procedures are followed to achieve the highest level of productivity in the most cost-efficient manner possible while maintaining customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and develop employees to achieve maximum quality and productivity performance.
  • Plan and schedule manpower, materials, and equipment to optimize departmental policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee performance, providing feedback and coaching.
  • Promote department and company goodwill through effective communication and employee involvement.
  • Investigate areas for quality improvement, cost reduction, and method improvement.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Poultry or food industry experience preferred.
  • Leadership skills with 20+ employees.
  • Effective communication and decision-making abilities.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Education:

High School Diploma/GED; College degree in a related field preferred.
