Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with clinical leaders to develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with caregivers to improve patient outcomes and provide coaching and mentoring to support their growth and development.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve quality and safety outcomes and develop plans to address these opportunities.
  • Support clinical leaders in aggregating and interpreting quality and patient safety data to inform practice and improve outcomes.
  • Guide the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) projects and revise order sets and practice guidelines as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
  • 2 years applicable experience required, with 5 years preferred.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing required.
  • BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous RN educator experience.
  • Experience in Maternal Child Health.
  • Previous experience with quality improvement and patient experience.
