Role Overview:
The Global Business Selling team, within eBay's Global Markets organization, plays a crucial role in assisting sellers to establish and expand their businesses on our platform. We deliver a compelling value proposition that attracts new sellers and retains existing ones, ranging from small entrepreneurs to large global brands.
We collaborate with various teams across the organization to advance our strategic objectives, fulfill our commitments, and instill confidence in sellers to achieve success, profitability, and security on our marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Identify seller needs that enhance favorability while being mindful of market dynamics, and establish clear priorities to address these needs. Understand eBay's strategic and competitive landscape to advocate for necessary changes.
- Roadmap Execution: Influence the development of the roadmap and ensure successful outcomes across product, marketing, trust, regulatory, and seller operations. Build support and momentum among internal partners.
- Market Strategy: Contribute to the go-to-market strategy that reinforces our value proposition, ensuring awareness and adoption in collaboration with product, marketing, operations, and legal teams.
- Performance Tracking: Define and manage reporting against key performance indicators for initiatives under your purview.
Candidate Profile:
- Strategic Thinker and Operator: You can translate enterprise objectives and seller needs into actionable priorities, driving outcomes by inspiring and influencing key stakeholders.
- Analytical Mindset: You possess a strong inclination towards data-driven decision-making, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative approaches to derive actionable insights.
- Exceptional Communicator: You can adapt your communication style to suit different audiences and objectives, both verbally and in writing.
- Autonomous Leader: You drive progress independently while keeping leadership and partners informed and engaged.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a top-tier management consulting firm, investment bank, or a strategic role in a major corporation.
- Experience managing end-to-end ecommerce experiences, utilizing metrics such as NPS, conversion funnels, and financial outcomes.
- BA/BS degree required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or similar advanced degree.
- A passion for selling on marketplace platforms.
Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel may be required.
Compensation:
The pay range for this position is expected to be competitive, with additional elements such as bonuses and stock options, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
