Position Overview: As a Breast Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in patient care by utilizing advanced ultrasound technology to create detailed images of breast tissue. Your expertise will assist in the diagnosis and monitoring of breast health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employing a transducer to generate high-quality ultrasound images of the breast.
- Supporting interventional procedures, including biopsies, to aid in accurate diagnosis.
- Collaborating with medical professionals to interpret imaging results for effective patient management.
- Executing all technical aspects of ultrasound examinations, including screening, diagnostic imaging, and breast biopsy.
- Adhering to quality assurance and quality control policies in compliance with MQSA regulations.
Essential Skills:
- ARRT certification, Sonographer qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A.S. degree from an accredited Radiology program.
- ARRT (R), (M), or ARDMS certification with a Breast Ultrasound credential is preferred or should be obtained within six months.
Experience Level: Entry Level
