Job Summary:
Dexian DISYS is seeking a skilled Packaging Graphics/Digital Renders - Production Services professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly in Illustrator and Photoshop, and experience in packaging design and production. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating digital packaging images, generating realistic packaging renders, and partnering with production services managers to manage schedules and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Create digital packaging images of client-branded products from final packaging mechanicals and incorporate product photography in multiple angles for various packaging forms.
Generate realistic packaging renders using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Esko Studio products.
Partner with production services managers and design personnel to manage schedules and deliverables within a fast-paced environment.
Design and execute production across multiple brand portfolios in multiple regions, leveraging multiple languages, translations, and print converters.
Interpret requirements of specific printer specifications into mechanical artwork development, including print process limitations, ink application, coating, embossing, typography, photography, images, color limitations, min/max dot usage, line weights, safety, and UPC truncations/magnifications.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly in Illustrator and Photoshop.
Experience in packaging design and production, with a focus on digital packaging images and realistic packaging renders.
Ability to partner with production services managers and design personnel to manage schedules and deliverables within a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret requirements and develop mechanical artwork.
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or Graphic Communications, or relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of professional experience as a designer/graphic/production artist in a packaging design environment, with CPG experience a plus.
