Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Simmons Prepared Foods Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily execution of project management activities to ensure that our facilities and projects stay on track according to schedule, scope, and budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring that proper project methodology is followed.
  • Manage scope and risk, scheduling business resources, and ensuring clear and timely communication.
  • Oversee the delivery of projects to ensure internal client satisfaction.
  • Lead the organization to accomplish quality performance and deliver on expectations regarding functionality, timeliness, and cost.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, IT, and other business units.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of project management experience in a technical or engineering field.
  • Knowledge of project management disciplines necessary to run projects.
  • Fluent in use of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Products, and a project/portfolio management tool.
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, as well as accuracy and attention to details.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ERP implementation experience.
  • Manufacturing system implementation experience.
  • Developing cutover plans to reduce downtime experience.
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud experience.
