About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Team Lead to join our team at Gates Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to production.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Manage inventory and materials, including ordering and tracking of spare parts and supplies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as mechanical engineering or industrial technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance leadership or supervisory roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading maintenance teams and improving equipment performance and reliability.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
